The giant crochet heart, and all its little friends, have been taken down and the building has been restored to its original professional condition.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit bummed. I really liked how the heart looked, and I was a bit too proud that we were able to get it done on time. I think it doesn’t help that work has been nothing short of bonkers, and this ridiculous !#$%ing cold weather just won’t quit. Blargh.
The heart is being raffled off to help benefit preservation efforts in the area, so <sniffle> I will never see him again. Luckily, before dropping it off this afternoon, Craft Husband had the awesome idea of submitting it for an impromptu photo shoot with E and her cute nibblets.
I realize this is probably too many photos, but I’m in mourning, so bear with me. Also, you can’t deny these kids are CUTE!
Now it’s time to shake off the gloom and get on with the next project.
